deer and the antelope

deer and the antelope deer and the antelope

i hope it gets chilly this weekend. real chilly. i'm fighting hard to get rid of this flu and it doesn't seem to be working, so staying inside and knitting sounds just about right to me. valentine's day is right around the corner, and i'd love to make some small gifts again this year.

hey, thanks for all the nice comments on here lately. i mean, you're always nice, but lately i've been so encouraged. i hope you too have a restful weekend.

  1. I dont know you personally, I don't sew contemporary, my body type does not fit into your target customer range, and Im not a well known blogger. But I do know this, I like what you knit, I like your family values, your dedication to your home, and your desire for simplicity. I also know from one lady to another that I hope terribly, and sincerely that you get better, and make a comeback with your work! Because no one can keep a person down who's thoughts and intentions are pure. And I do believe your work and aim is honest.

  2. That fabric is lovely! The weather is practically spring here at the moment, seriously, people are walking around with their coats over their arms because it's too hot to wear them! I need to move north...

p.s. Love the new blog style and banner!

  5. I hope you're flu has soon flown. I only just fully recovered from the cold that hit me on my first day back to work after the Christmas-New Year break. It was just a cold, but knocked me for a loop so badly; I can only imagine how miserable the flu must be!
