there's a camping trip on the horizon, and i can barely wait. making meals on a campfire and campstove is always my favorite part of sleeping outdoors. and waking up to doug building a fire and making coffee. and all that fresh air. and letting the dog run wild. and the quiet time spent knitting. and having to throw on a sweater after the sun goes down. and the glow of the lanterns at night. i might not want to leave.
gosh that sounds lovely. i don't think we're going to make it camping this year and i'm so sad about it. i think we'll do a winter cabin trip to make up for it. talk about cozy!
ReplyDeletethose are all of my favorite parts about camping! but i think my absolute favorite part is the total & complete quiet. i might have to plan another camping trip soon!
