newest thrift find

i had a friend over for tea this morning and almost broke out the new teapot, but didn't want to keep her for too long with such a huge pot of tea. need i tell you where it's from? three words: magical thrift store.

watched daddy long legs while i was catching up on some work this week. i'll forgive the movie for it's creepster-old-guy-infatuated-with-and-18-year-old aspect, since the beginning has an entire scene with blue gingham! i couldn't help but think back to little winter... ahhh good times, good times...

  1. I think "Little Winter" is such a unique concept in terms of indoor holiday markets, putting a twist on the gathering by including online bloggers who sell their handmade wares, while forming real life bonds, and comradery amongst artists.

Will there be another "Little Winter"? If so will you participate?

  3. I'm just gonna come one day with an empty suitcase and got to that thrift store! And in return you should come to England, 'social' tea drinking is always done by the teapot load! :)

And that gingham is so nice! d'you think they just found a surplus of material and realised they could massively cut costs?
