probably because they were in the men's section - they're awesome though and the price isn't ridiculous like the ramblers. i can't find the exact ones online, but they're merino champion "performance baselayer." similar to these , but ours are the perfect shade of heathered gray.
i bought them for doug full price for christmas, but went back for myself not too long ago and got them half off. they were in the long underwear section, by activewear. and in case you do find them and the selection is low, the smalls are just a little tight around my calves in the bottoms - i think a medium would be comfortable too.
yes, those look absolutely dreamy! and i'm glad i read the comments, because i was wondering the same thing about finding wool long johns at target! will have to check them out next time i'm in town.
Ha! Made in my beloved state and I didn't even realize this new Tom's of Maine venture existed. Not than I can afford anything... but still... comfy-looking.
um, wool long johns from target? how did i miss those???

This is some pricey stuff! I didn't expect to see three-figure prices on them :(
