still organizing

since it was pretty hot yesterday, i spent most of the morning and afternoon working on my sewing room in the basement. i've been bitten by the "throw out and give away" bug lately, and since these urges only come once in a blue moon, i've been taking advantage of it. even though i was really aggressive (or so i thought) tossing loads of fabric, yarn and clothing projects into give-away bags, i still realize that i have much too much. i'm starting to think that as a homeowner, declutter is a mindset rather than something that you do all in one fell swoop. maybe a couple more of these kinds of days and i won't look through my fabric collection and say, "why am i saving this again?"
